Residents reap what gardeners sow

Master Gardener Heidi Londo really gets into her work in the garden at the south end of Ludington Park, across from the old Bonifas house. Master Gardeners, spearheaded by Heidi Londo, resurrected the garden after it had suffered the ravages of time. Consisting primarily of wild flowers indigenous to Michigan, the garden is once again a point of focus for those with an interest in local flora and fauna. Almost all the flowers noted on the sign are presently in the garden, and enhancement efforts are continuing. (Photo by Anna Savage)
