Local dietician publishes book with healthy recipes

July 3, 2008

ESCANABA — A local registered dietician recently published her latest book with recipes for healthy eating and has dedicated the book to the source of her inspiration. Sally Mosher, MSRD (master of science/registered dietician), published her second book, “Hope for Tomorrow Through Healthy Eating,” this summer. The book is dedicated to Millie Bink, Escanaba. Mosher said she wants to feature the book and its inspiration — Bink. “It’s not about me; it’s about the people we can help,” she said. “I’d rather focus on the purpose. Hopefully Millie’s story will give people hope.” Mosher’s book is a menu planner specifically for people who have diabetes or other illnesses or issues that require a special, healthful diet. Bink said the book is about hope. “Sally wants this to be about helping others through the book,” said Bink. “Helping people to have hope whenever they have to face something like this.” Bink said the menu planner is a wonderful help for anyone who needs a special diet.
